Positive: Villa Seyian is located in Galatas, a village less than 2km from the seafront with restaurants, shops and beach bars. There are buses that run every hr and pick up outside the villa, €2 per trip (cash or card) Galatas itself has a couple of Tavernas that are good for a drink or a traditional Cretan meal, there are mini markets, pharmacy, coffee shop and butchers in the village. The villa is superb, it has everything you need, we were a family of 6 (4 adults, 2 Children) and there was more than enough room. The outside space is great, plenty of shade if needed and the freshwater swimming pool is perfect, well maintained and clean. Our hosts Efi and Alexis were superb, kept in touch, worked around our plans when they wanted to clean the house and pool, nothing was too much trouble. They also provided some complimentary Cretan cuisine and drinks for us to try, not expected but it was such a nice touch. We had a fantastic holiday, explored Crete which is stunning and go home recharged and relaxed. We would 100% recommend booking this Villa from Efi and Alexis.
